HARDWOOD COOKING SPATULAS
The Living Crafts Show at Hatfield House was a lot of fun and a great success - thank you to any spatula-followers who visited the stand there. At the moment there is nothing organised officially until my favourite three weeks at the Edinburgh Festival - 3D2D
All the spatulas are made by Tim Foxall and the small expert team at his workshop in Northumberland, UK. Original, variable and ergonomic designs, sawn on the curve from locally-sourced hardwoods as much as possible. Sanded in six processes then lovingly oiled. All the spatulas are roughly 30cm long.
Photos coming soon of the team: Sam doing her incredibly proficient scrollsawing and helping with business things; and Chris being the incomparable sander (he gets very upset if the spatulas aren't absolutely perfect) and helping with packing up orders.

Ukrainian Flag-waver, The Boss, and receipts
My sons Andrew and Iain have both spend a lot of time working in Ukraine. So, combined with the dire situation there, we have been selling the UKRAINIAN FLAG-WAVER and THE BOSS to raise money for The Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Appeal since March. 100% of the proceeds - £1,504 - has been donated directly to the DEC via our local Haltwhistle Save the Children charity bookshop. The Ukrainian flag-waver, also usable as a memo-holder, is still available here, with 100% of the proceeds of their sale still going to the DEC Ukraine appeal.
