A moose spatula is for life, not just for Christmas! We've been asked many times to give them a reindeer label, but we want our spatulas to be used all year round and not packed away with the decorations.
So, his label usually says "The Monarch of the Pan" (with apologies to Landseer), but you can also have the simple "Tim Foxall original" label if you prefer.
The Moose
The spatulas are approximately 30cm long and 7.5cm wide, and are crafted from kiln-dried hardwoods, usually ash or beech.
No two spatulas will ever be exactly the same. We don't use templates. Each piece of hardwood is different, and the shape, curve and grain make up the character of each spatula. Cut, sanded, finished and oiled by hand, each one is unique, and the photographs should be treated as a fairly accurate guide only. The example shown here is in ash.
