"Please Miss! Can I go and be a spatula now?"

You could leave him in the corner if you like, but why would you?  He's designed to be used, and has every right to complain if left to languish in the utensil jar... In fact, various tortures are available for those who do not use their spatulas!

The label can also say "Please Sir! Can I go and be a spatula now?"

The "Please Miss!"

  • The spatulas are approximately 30cm long and 7.5cm wide, and are crafted from kiln-dried hardwoods, usually ash or beech.

No two spatulas will ever be exactly the same.  We don't use templates.  Each piece of hardwood is different, and the shape, curve and grain make up the character of each spatula.  Cut, sanded, finished and oiled by hand, each one is unique, and the photographs should be treated as a fairly accurate guide only.  The example shown here is in beech.
