This is one of our favourite designs - Tim has played the cello since he was young and still play very regularly. He made a living with it for a couple of years by busking in Newcastle, and although he no longer needs to do it to pay the bills, he still does when he can, for the romance.
Cellists in the audience may have noticed that the spatula is not strictly in proportion, and doesn't have any strings... It should still bring music to your cooking.
No two spatulas will ever be exactly the same. We don't use templates. Each piece of wood is different, and the shape, curve and grain make up the character of each spatula. Cut, sanded, finished and oiled by hand, each one is unique, and the photographs should be treated as a fairly accurate guide only. This one is in beech.
